Download ABC-View Manager Plugins
This page lists additional plugins that you can download and that extend the functionality of ABCVM. There are two types of plugins:
- Plugins to read additional image formats
- Specialised plugins for filtering data
Additional Image Format Plugins
In the list below you can find and download additional image format plugins. These plugins complement the functionality of ABCVM with additional image format readers. In future, this list will be extended. If you have suggestions for plugins, please contact us.
How to download and install:
Simply click on the [Download] link and open the ZIP file. When the download
finishes, extract all files to the \Plugins subdirectory. If you installed
ABC-View Manager in the default location, this is here:
C:\Program Files\ABC-View Manager\Plugins
If you cannot open the ZIP file then please download and install Winzip
first.
After you have extracted the files to the Plugins directory you should
(re)start ABC-View Manager, and the plugins will be available. You can
choose to switch off plugins in the ABCVM options:

| Jpeg 2000 reader |
Jpeg 2000 image format reader (3rd party plugin, free). You can
use this plugin to view your JP2 pictures. This is a 3rd party plugin,
please read and observe the license information in the readme. |
| DWG reader (CS_DWG.DLL) |
With this plugin you will be able to view
Autocad DWG files. This 3rd party plugin requires separate registration
if you want to keep on using it. The trial version will display the
word "Evaluation" as well as display a reminder message

| DXF reader (CS_DXF.DLL) |
With this plugin you will be able to view DXF files. This 3rd party
plugin requires separate registration if you want to keep on using
it. The trial version will display the word "Evaluation"
as well as display a reminder message regularly. |
| AVI first frame | With this plugin you can view the first
frame of an AVI movie. This is especially helpful if you have a lot
of AVI movie fragments and you want to browse the fragments as thumbnails.
Note that ABCVM internally relies on Windows software to display the AVI first frame. The stability of this plugin can therefore not be guaranteed, and sometimes it may take a long time to display an AVI first frame. [Download] |
| TTF impression |
Render your TrueType fonts as a small sample bitmap and thumbnail.
This plugin is ideal to browse your collection of fonts. |
Special Filter Plugins
Currently there is only one special filter plugin.

identical, except for perhaps a few words. |
