Connections Drop-down List
Here you can type in the internet addresses that you want to check. These entries can be stored so you don't have to retype them every time.

IP-Address indication
Each internet address has a 4-number representation, called the IP-address. The IP-address for the current selection is shown here.

Polling interval and timeout
Here you can change the default settings for the polling interval and the timeout value of the checking mechanism.

Reliability
This value shows the calculated reliability of the connection. This value is a moving average of individual measurements.

Start & Stop
Use these buttons to start checking a connection and to stop the process again.

Button "Logging"
Click this button to go to the settings page. Here you can enter details about the logfile and log-settings.

Button "Save Settings"
Click this button to store the user settings. These will be automatically reloaded upon restart.

Graphical display of the connection quality
This graph shows the individual ongoing measurements. The red vertical bar is the current location and this one slowly moves rightwards. On the left (like a scope) it leaves a trail of old results.
The legend on the left shows the time in milliseconds, the green bars show the time each check takes. Shorter green bars indicate better network quality.
