Press the Delete Dialog Button if you want to delete the files you selected in the files pane. The files are not directly deleted, you are first presented with a list of files you plan to delete and only when you click on OK in this dialog box the files are deleted from the disk. If you select the action 'Use Recycle Bin', the files are placed in the recycle bin and this enables you to put them back if they were deleted accidentally.
